This Is Epic – 75 Cr in Just Two Days

Much awaited Salman Khan starrer movie, ‘Sultan’, recently hit the screens and it already looks like it’ll be breaking records. The film, which was set to make its release on Eid, didn’t get many earnings on day one due to Eid being delayed but it soon changed course once Eid was celebrated.

The movie made Rs 36.54 crore on its first day and is creating history by garnering a similar amount (Rs 38-40 crores) on the second day as well. All in all, a gross collection of 75 crores in just two is a new record the film has made.

While there was expectation of a decrease in sales on Thursday, the film has managed to scrape a 80 percent occupancy. Trade analysts believe that ‘Sultan’ will garner over 160 crore by the end of this weekend which will be phenomenal feat at the box office.
