Midnight Shows are Rare & Happening

One of the most awaited films of Bollywood ‘Thugs of Hindosthan‘ is arriving in theatres on 8th November and the movie lovers across the country are eagerly waiting for the release because of the crazy combination. For the first time, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan are coming together and there is an added attraction in the form of Katrina Kaif.

Unlike our film featuring Telugu stars, Bollywood movies seldom have midnight shows and most of their movies begin with early morning shows. But, ‘Thugs of Hindosthan’ is coming with midnight shows and the count of theatres is quite overwhelming. It is very rare for Bollywood movies. The craze around this movie could be the reason why midnight shows were planned for the release.

It appears as though the makers want to create an opening day record and surpass Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Baahubali, The Conclusion’ opening day records. However, ‘Baahubali 2’ is a non-Hindi film that was dubbed into Hindi. Comparisons with ‘Happy New Year’ are bound to happen but that movie was very low in content and Shahrukh Khan’s star power had given a massive opening. Let’s wait and see how Amitabh-Aamir combo spins magic at the box-office.
