Macho Hero’s Franchise Heavily Depending on South Films

In Bollywood, several franchises have been in vogue like the ‘Krish’ series with Hrithik Roshan, ‘Dhoom’ series with superstars playing the antagonist, ‘Golmaal’ series with Ajay Devgan, ‘Housefull’ with Akshay Kumar etc.

The latest one was ‘Bhaagi’ series with young macho hero Tiger Shroff. Coming to the last one mentioned, ‘Bhaagi 1′ is the remake of Telugu blockbuster, Prabhas’ ‘Varsham’. The second one ‘Bhaagi 2’ in the franchise is the remake of Adivi Sesh’s thriller ‘Kshanam’.

Now we hear that ‘Bhaagi 3’ will be the Hindi remake of Tamil movie ‘Vettai’. This clearly indicates that Bollywood has inclined towards successful movies from the South. Both ‘Bhaagi 1’ and ‘Bhaagi 2’ turned super hit movies despite critics giving average ratings.

By the way, ‘Saaho’ girl Shraddha Kapoor will be romancing Tiger Shroff in the third movie of the series. She was the heroine in ‘Bhaagi 1’, as well.
