Biggest Project Shelved: After Atlee, Another Blow

Salman Khan’s collaboration with Atlee, which had fans buzzing with excitement, has officially been shelved. The ambitious project, initially planned as a high-budget pan-India film, faced financial hurdles, leading to its indefinite postponement.

Salman recently addressed the matter during promotions for his upcoming film Sikandar, stating, “We tried really hard to work it out, but somehow it didn’t happen. I believe it was the budget of the film

And to add to the disappointment, Salman also announced that the much-awaited film “Tiger vs Pathaan” with him and Shah Rukh Khan is not happening. This is a big blow to the fans who were expecting a lot from this film which was expected to gross over 1000 crores in India alone.

The film was seen as a big opportunity for both the stars to recreate their box office magic after their previous successes. However, the reasons are many. Producers are hesitant because of Salman’s recent string of flops and are worried about the financial viability.

Fans were expecting Atlee who delivered a blockbuster with Jawan to do the same with Salman; but shelving of both the films is a big worry for the superstar.

As Salman promotes Sikandar, the industry is watching to see how he navigates this phase and whether he can get back to being the box office king of Bollywood.
