On Top of Flop Talk, Notes Ban Affected This Film Badly

One Bollywood biggies are almost biting the dust in the midst of demonetization of the highest denominations aka Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000. That film is Farhan Akhtar’s sequel ‘Rock On 2’ for the super hit 2008’s prequel ‘Rock On’.

Besides the denominations effect, the film is also suffering due to poor ratings as the story of the sequel is said to be not up to the expectations. So, there is a very little chance for the makers of the movie to be optimistic that their film would see increased footfalls on the weekend.

Though theater owners are showing support to this Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha Kapoor starrer, the poor talk on the film is making the audiences to rather go to banks and ATMs for the exchange of notes or deposit the demonetised notes instead of going to watch the movie. Needless to say, the demonetization has become a millstone around the neck of ‘Rock On 2’.
