Trade Prediction for this Film has Gone to Dogs

Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Sarkar and its sequel Sarkar Raj were very popular with the audience. But the latest in this series of films, Sarkar has 3 has failed to garner much enthusiasm and the audience’s lukewarm response to it is reflected in the trade numbers.

Since its release on May 12, Sarkar 2 has only earned 6.75 crores, which compared to Baahubali’s third week earning of over 42 crores is laughingly small. Considering that Sarkar 3 had bought 1400 screens across the country, it was expected to at least each the 10 crore mark. In contrast, Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana‘s Meri Pyaari Bindu, which was released to half the number of screens of Sarkar 3 stands almost neck to neck with the Amitabh Bachchan starrer where the earnings are concerned.

It seems that the film’s flawed plot, insufficient marketing and bad reviews has led to its downfall!
