Netflix’s 2022 thriller Vadh, starring Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra, was one of the platform’s most popular digital releases. The film gained attention for its gripping performances and its unique take on a crime thriller.
Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg’s Luv Films have now announced a sequel. Vadh 2 is set for a grand theatrical release on February 6, 2026. Unlike the first film, which debuted on OTT, the sequel will hit cinemas first.
The announcement poster has already created buzz online, with fans sharing theories about what direction the story might take. Many are curious about how Vadh 2 will continue the unsettling tone and suspense that made the original stand out.
Given the cult following Vadh developed over time, releasing the sequel in theatres appears to be a strategic move. With its strong fan base and widespread digital success, Vadh 2 could easily attract both theatre audiences and streaming viewers later on.
All eyes are now on February 6, 2026 to see whether Vadh 2 can replicate the critical acclaim and commercial success of its predecessor.
