Hero Upset: Ban on Cricketer Kidnap Drama

Bollywood action film ‘Dishoom’ was released this Friday and is running in theatres with mixed talk. But this movie isn’t going to Pakistan because The Censor Board in Pakistan had imposed the ban on this film.

This film is about the kidnap of a star cricketer just a few hours before the commencement of the cricket match between India and Pakistan. The cops (lead pair John Abraham and Varun Dhawan) set out to rescue the Indian cricketer. We know that Pakistan would have obvious problems thinking that this kind of story portrays their nation in a bad light.

Young hero Varun Dhawan is said to be upset with this ban as he thinks that Pakistan isn’t shown in bad light. It is only a light hearted action entertainer and has got nothing to talk about Pakistan in particular. Nevertheless, the Censor Board of Pakistan has taken the decision already.
