Youngest Emerging Star to Replace Superstar

Vicky Kaushal the new chip on the block, a potential to be a future star, has reportedly the bagged the biggest solo project of his career so far. If the latest buzz is to be believed the young actor has been locked in for the upcoming biggie Sare Jahan Se Acha.

Those who follow Bollywood shall know that Sare Jahan Se Acha has been in the news for a long time and it was to initially star Aamir Khan. Later owing to time constraints, he declined the offer and suggested it to Shah Rukh Khan. When it almost looked like a done deal, here comes the news of a replacement.

Sare Jahan Se Acha is a biopic on India’s first astronaut to travel in space, Rakesh Sharma. If Vicky gets selected, it would be his second biggie in hands after Takth, but unlike the latter where he will share the screen with Ranveer Singh, the biopic would be a solo venture. The actor, meanwhile, is basking in the glory of phenomenal box office success of the movie Uri – The Surgical Strike.
