Actress Denies Being Molested

Nowadays, we hear a lot about the growing crimes and how women are objectified, sexually molested and treated inappropriately. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan doesn’t like to use these words loosely.

Talking about the incident when she was touched on her back inappropriately by a guy who wanted to click a selfie with her, she says that it isn’t sexual molestation. She feels it is incorrect that the incident made headlines as ‘molestation’.

These words like ‘feminism’, ‘sexual harassment’ and ‘molestation’ have a deeper meaning and every inappropriate behaviour can’t be categorised under the above categories. Well, Vidya Balan has a point and we needn’t sensationalise everything.
