Class Director Turns Mass With SK & Triptii Dimri

After giving critically acclaimed films like Haider, Omkara, Maqbool, Kaminey and many others, Vishal Bhardwaj is now venturing on a commercial level film with Sajid Nadiadwala as the producer. Arjun Ustara is a story about underworld and gangsters with Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in lead roles.

It’s India shooting schedule has been wrapped and now the shooting will take place on international location which has been reported to be Georgia. The team will aim to wrap the shoot by June and it is going to release in December 2025.

This storytelling format is more grand scale and that will be something new for the Vishal Bharadwaj fans. He is widely known as an art director whose films though critically successful don’t turn into blockbusters on the big screens.

Shahid after struggling at the box office for a while was looking for something like this. He is reported to be really happy with the commercial route of the film and how post-pandemic audience is being considered by Vishal Bhardwaj who is blending his unique filmmaking with commercial demands.
