Will Rishab Shetty’s Film Reduce Impact of Spirit?

Vivek Oberoi is back in action and aiming for a pan-Indian comeback. Known for his strong negative roles, he plans to focus on powerful antagonists once again a space where he has already earned praise from fans and filmmakers alike.

His performance as Kaal in Krrish 3 remains one of his most memorable. Now, he is set to face Rishab Shetty in The Pride of Bharat Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Vivek will play Aurangzeb, the central antagonist, in this grand historical drama.

Rishab Shetty, who rose to national fame with Kantara and Kantara Chapter 1, will portray the legendary Maratha king. His success has already built massive anticipation for the project, making the upcoming face-off one of the most awaited in Indian cinema.

However, some fans believe this role might affect Vivek’s upcoming appearance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit with Prabhas. They feel audiences might get used to seeing him in negative roles, which could reduce the impact of his next big villain performance.

Others disagree, saying that a strong performance always stands out, regardless of genre or repetition. If Vivek delivers his best, both films can strengthen his comeback. For now, all eyes are on this historical epic and how it shapes his revival.
