Social media is buzzing with Akshay Kumar’s good old days of comic supremacy. His clips from various comedy films of the 2000’s is going viral and people are missing his comic appeal.
This year he has not been able to give a satisfactory performance on the big screen. He has done repeated flops like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Sarfira, and Khel Khel Mein.
But a recent trend has noticed that his films when released on OTT did well and his performance received appreciation. Both Sarfira and Khel Khel Mein, films in two different genres have been released on OTT after a bland run on the silver screens and they did well.
Film pundits believe that this buzz can be utilised to give him a blockbuster revival at the box office . This PR can help Akshay to stun fans with a comedy film that is like his older days classic in its essence.
In the upcoming line up he has films like Jolly LLB 3, Housefull 5, Bhoot Bangla and Welcome To The Jungle. All this film has a dominantly comic storyline and if it is done well it can win hearts of the fans and do amazingly at the Box Office.
