‘We Can’t Work with ‘Baahubali’ Pressure in Mind’

These days everybody seems to be under a Baahubali haze, from the audiences to the film industry itself. Keeping in mind the success of Baahubali 2 and the impact it has had on viewers, the question is how the other films will fare when released in this atmosphere considering that their success will be measured against Baahubali’s. Case in point is Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Tubelight‘ which will soon face the limelight!

However, when asked about it at the preview of the first song of the film called Radio song, Director Kabir Khan seems to have a different view. He thinks it is best to stay away from this pressure. According to him if his film does that great, it will be well and good but they will be not be moving ahead with that pressure in mind. On a lighter note Kabir said that life already has many pressures, why should he take on that on Baahubali’s!

As for the film itself, Tubelight is an official adaptation of American war film, Little Boy. The filmmakers had bought its short rights and then recreated it in our historical context!
