MS Dhoni is iconic personality as a cricket but as a star material for movies, he is an unknown commodity. However, he has managed to show what his true star power is worth with the opening day collections of his biopic.

Dhoni’s biopic named MS Dhoni The Untold Story has shattered all box office records as far opening of a biopic is concerned. The film has got nearly 21 Cr on its opening day. What is even special about this number is it’s the second best opener of the year beating a top Khan hero. Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan had the second-biggest opening of the year at 19 Cr previously.

The important thing to notice here is that Dhoni has opened this big without any holiday support or big hero presence. It just shows how huge the brand name is of MS Dhoni.
