In a recent interview, the world class tennis player spoke of having planned what her kid is going to have his/her last name in the school records. It is not obvious, the couple are going to have their kid’s last name as Mirza Malik.

Discussing the idea behind the decision, the tennis player says that she has not changed her surname after marriage and she wants her generation whether a boy or a girl to carry their surname further. Them being equal partners want their child to bear both their surnames. Well, fair enough.
