Triptii Dimri is all set to become a part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, with Prabhas playing the lead role. After impressing Hindi audiences with her beauty and screen presence, Triptii is preparing to do the same with the Telugu audience.
Insiders close to the film claimed that Triptii will appear as a doctor, who falls for the character played by Prabhas. Prabhas is reportedly playing the role of a cop and director Sandeep is aiming to break the norm of conventional romance with Spirit.
The source also mentioned that Sandeep has planned some intense romantic moments and some drama for the upcoming film, which is going on floors from October this year.
The film has created headlines for some time after Deepika Padukone exited the film allegedly due to her dissatisfaction with the amount of nudity to be featured in the film.
However, the biggest question right now is that whether Prabhas will agree to do any kind of intimate scenes. Prabhas has maintained an image of family hero over the years and Spirit is a film due to which he might need to undergo a change.
In case Prabhas decides to listen to his director, people might get to see a different side of the Rebel Star this time. On the other hand, it remains to be seen if Prabhas will be using a body double for the intimate scenes.
Spirit is reported to be an action-thriller and the controversies like the one mentioned above have always contributed to the success of such projects. While the film’s budget has not been disclosed, it is arriving in nine languages.
Considering Sandeep’s way of making films over the years, it looks like he is prepared to make a mark at the box office.
