Yes, Rajinikanth Rejected Me -Admits Top Star

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been in the news for his movie ‘Dangal’ which is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat. The movie will also be released in Tamil and Telugu languages. Since the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film will be dubbed, Aamir suggested legendary superstar Rajinikanth to voice Phogat’s character in Tamil.

Sadly, Rajinikanth will not be dubbing for the Tamil version. Despite loving the movie, Rajini cannot lend his voice to the Tamil version of the film as “his voice is too recognisable”. Apparently, after a discussion between the two actors, it was discovered that Rajinikanth is too famous and his voice, too well-known to merge with Aamir’s face in the movie. Aamir, however, said that Rajinikanth was very encouraging about the film and enjoyed meeting him.

Aamir added that he would like to do a Hindi film with Rajinikanth again, the first one being ‘Aatank Hi Aatank’.
