YRF’s Emotional Musical Blockbuster Before WAR 2?

Yash Raj Films is finally coming out of the world of spy films and returning its focus to romance. This time, the popular production company is giving a big break to two new faces, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, with a new film titled Saiyaara.

Apart from two new actors, Saiyaara will also mark director Mohit Suri’s first collaboration with YRF. The teaser of the film was released on May 30, 2025, and it looks promising.

The makers have ensured to provide a proper presentation to the new faces, where we hear Aneet’s character saying a few words, seemingly referring to Ahaan Panday, who, without any doubt, is playing her love interest.

Although the teaser has not revealed much about the story, the visuals resemble Aashiqui 2, which was also directed by Mohit Suri and was one of the highest-grossing films of 2013.

Ahaan is possibly playing the role of a popular musician who might have to deal with heartbreak after falling in love.

The teaser has some intense moments, including a scene where we see Ahaan punching someone in anger and another sequence where Aneet breaks down in tears with Ahaan holding her from the back.

A few words from a song can also be heard in the teaser, which also sounds melodious and different. But at the same time, things are also looking very routine, where a couple is seemingly dealing with challenges in their relationship.

However, considering Mohit Suri’s work in romantic films over the years, it can be expected that he might have added something new and different to grab the attention of the audience.
