YRF’s Biggest Film Cancelled: No SRK vs Salman Clash

Yash Raj Films has reportedly shelved Tiger vs Pathaan. The much awaited spy thriller was expected to unite Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in a face off.

Reports suggest the decision was taken on 14 February 2026. The update disappointed many fans who were waiting for the big screen clash. Social media saw immediate reactions.

Industry insiders claim the project was stalled due to soaring production costs. Both actors were reportedly demanding fees above Rs 100 crore each. Profit sharing terms were also said to be substantial.

Another factor is said to be declining interest in the spy universe formula. Some recent releases under the banner did not meet box office expectations. The studio may now be reassessing its strategy.

The film had generated excitement because it promised to reunite the iconic duo from Karan Arjun. Fans expected a massive cinematic event combining both spy franchises.

There are also reports that the film is being paused rather than cancelled. According to some sources, Aditya Chopra is considering a creative revamp. The focus may shift towards fresh storytelling.

Other potential projects like Alpha and Dhoom 4 are reportedly under discussion. The studio may prioritise these ventures in the coming phase.

For now, Tiger vs Pathaan remains uncertain. Whether the mega showdown will return in a new form is something only time will reveal.
