Marvel’s Fantastic 4 BIG Reveal: Fans Going Mental

Cinematic universes today thrive on the idea that stories don’t simply end when the credits roll.

For many fans, the real excitement often lies in what comes after—the post-credit scenes that hint at new adventures or tie up loose ends.

This tradition, especially in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has practically become an expectation rather than a surprise, shaping the way audiences watch and anticipate each release.

With the upcoming release of Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps on July 25, 2025, this approach remains unchanged.

Reports confirm that the film contains two post-credit scenes, staying true to MCU’s established formula of blending plot advancement with lighter entertainment.

The first of these scenes is significant, introducing Doctor Doom—reportedly played by Robert Downey Jr.—and weaving the new Fantastic Four directly into the wider MCU narrative.

This teaser is not only a nod to dedicated fans but also lays groundwork for future titles, including the much-discussed Avengers: Doomsday.

Meanwhile, the second post-credit moment offers a humorous touch, with a playful reference to the classic Fantastic Four cartoon—a move that resonates with longtime fans but isn’t essential viewing for those rushing out of the theater.

Altogether, the decision to include both scenes reflects Marvel’s understanding of its audience, blending anticipation for the future with a sense of nostalgia and fun.
