The release date for Guy Ritchie’s upcoming picture, In the Grey, which was revealed at Cannes last year, has been revealed.
In the movie, Jake Gyllenhaal, Henry Cavill, and Eiza González play a group of people who operate on the edge between law enforcement and criminality as they look for billions of dollars’ worth of stolen money.
The movie is expected to be released early next year and is now in post-production. To get a sneak peek at the project, which centres on a larger-than-life protagonist on a hazardous mission, Ritchie and Cavill attended a convention.
Rosamund Pike, who recently starred in Saltburn and The Wheel of Time, will also be in the movie, though it is unclear what part she will play. González will portray a formidable female negotiator In The Grey.
Ritchie’s WWII action comedy The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which stars Cavill as Gus March-Phillipps, the head of the team tasked with sabotaging the Nazi war effort.
Alongside Domhnall Gleeson and Arian Moayed, González is making her third consecutive Ritchie picture, Fountain of Youth, which stars John Krasinski and Natalie Portman.
