2.0 Is Not Postponed – Lyca

When there had been this news making rounds that ‘2.0‘ has been postponed and it would be coming in April 2018, cine lovers were disappointed as they were expecting the movie to come on 25th January, on Republic Day’s eve.

Now, Lyca Productions’ creative head Mahalingam confirmed that Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ isn’t postponed to an indefinite date but is going to come on the date announced earlier. That means Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman’ is going to have a big competition in the form of ‘2.0’ in which he is playing the antagonist.

This comes as a big surprise as both are big releases of Akshay Kumar though one can’t compare the grandeur of ‘2.0’ with ‘Padman’ in terms of starters budget. Nevertheless, Akshay Kumar’s movie is coming with a message on sanitation and very close to one of our PM Modi’s initiatives. In this scenario, we are going to witness a phenomenal face-off between the two Akshay Kumar starrers.
