2.0 Release Creating Chaos Among Fans And Industry

Just when it all looked settled, here we have a not entirely unexpected twist in the tale with the release of magnum opus 2.0. Talks about rescheduling release date surfaced in the morning again and now its confirmed.

The reason for the sudden emergence is the announcement of the arrival of Akshay Kumar’s next Padman for Republic Day. As we all know, the Bollywood star plays a vital role in the Shankar’s epic sequel of Robo.

Now the dates of Padman and 2.0 are exchanged. The former will arrive for Republic Day whereas the latter would make it to cinemas worldwide on April 13. While the postponement hasn’t entirely shocked anyone, it is the way things have panned out that has left everyone, fans, and industry, perplexed.

If the makers were unsure of making it on January 25 why have such massive promotion and release the audio in such a grand manner. It doesn’t make sense to many. However, there are others who feel pushing the release to April is right as 2.0 kind of movie needs extended holiday period to recover the investment.

It will be interesting to follow the updates of Telugu biggies slated to release for summer with the arrival of 2.0. And lastly, the issue of another Rajinikanth film Kaala, remains? Will we have another announcement soon regarding Kaala? It does look so.
