Baahubali's link with 2016 releases!

Baahubali has changed the kind of movies being made in Telugu film industry. It had such an impact that audience are waiting for new and fresh films and when they get it they are showering it with their love. All of this linked to Baahubali has been already discussed at nauseam. So now let’s take a look at movies in 2016 that further strengthens that line of though.

The year is beginning with three different non routine formula flicks in the form of Nenu Shailaja, Killing Veerappan and Abbayitho Ammayi. Following these would be films like Soggade Chinni Nayana, Express Raja and the biggie Nannaku Prematho. The common aspect among all these films is they are all commercial ventures but again not routine fares. Now compare this with some big films of the past years?

And those films are just till Sankranthi. We have the likes of Janatha Garage, Thani Oruvan remake, Brahmotsavam, A Aa, etc slated to release in the year ahead. With all these films coming from top stars one must say Tollywood has finally come off age. Now let’s hope audience show the same love to all these films and we have another massive year after a grand 2015.
