25,000 applicants for hot actress’ call!

‘Kaun Banega Poonam Ka Hero’, a hunt to pick the male lead for Suresh Nakum’s upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Helen’, was received with too much fervour, amounting to over 25000 contestants. It is said that the role of the lead will be opposite well-known actress Poonam Pandey, who may or may not be the reason behind the overwhelming response.

The producer himself was surprised by such a response and said, “I have never seen such kind of a response for any Bollywood movie before the film goes on the floors.”

The actress sent out the invitation via a video clip and the participants of the contest were supposed to record video clips of about 2 minutes to audition for the role and it seems that there have been a total of over 25000 clips.
