5 Last Minute Cuts To Family Star: Here’s Why

Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram’s Family Star is headed for its theatrical debut in under 48 hours from now as the film is scheduled for release on April 5th. The film has now completed the censor formalities and here is a look at the 5 last-minute changes that were enforced for the film.

As per the censor certification of the film that has been shared on social media, abusive slurs like “Lan+++kodaka, f++k,” and others have been excised in the final cut. 5 such changes were enforced in the final copy to clear the censor formalities with the desired rating.

These changes are enforced in order to accord a U/A certificate for the film. The final run-time has been locked at 163 minutes which is a median number for a commercial potboiler.

The box office potential is very good for clean family entertainers during the summer holiday season and as it appears, the makers of Family Star had to make the 5 last minute changes to tick this box.

The USA premieres will be commencing in just over a day from now for this commercial potboiler. It is known that Dil Raju has funded this Vijay and Mrunal Thakur starrer.
