50 Days To Go Pushpa 2: 300Cr Opening Possible?

Pushpa 2: The Rule is the most awaited film of the year, with only 50 days left until its release.

Following the decent business of Devara: Part 1 in Hindi, which was not even properly promoted, the Hindi exhibitors expect to witness an earth-shattering response for Pushpa 2 due to its unprecedented hype. The film is set to arrive on December 6 this year.

The biggest worldwide openers in Indian cinema to date are Baahubali 2 and RRR, both of which crossed the 200 crore gross mark. If everything falls into place, Pushpa 2 has a chance of scoring 200 crores just from India alone on its opening day which would be beyond phenomenal.

The worldwide figure may touch the 300 crore mark.

According to the latest reports, the film has reportedly made ₹900 crore before its arrival on the big screen from its theatrical and non-theatrical rights.

The satellite rights have also been sold at a high price to Netflix for ₹270 crores, according to Bollywood media. The theatrical rights are priced at a whopping ₹650 crores.

Considering the high prices involved with the film, it must generate amazing word-of-mouth to recover its costs and prevent distributors from suffering losses.

With a humongous budget that surpasses the first film, there are high expectations given the hype it has created across the country.
