Trailer Talk: Money Heist Inspired Telugu Series

The Telugu OTT space is brimming with fresh content. The likes of RRR, Acharya, Bhala Thandhanana, and others have recently landed on OTT. The new addition to the list is Disney+ Hotstar’s original Telugu series, 9 Hours.

The trailer of 9 Hours dropped a short while ago and it has the heist theme that is similar to that of Netflix’s global blockbuster “Money Heist”.

There are three bank robberies and hostage situations at three different localities in Hyderabad all at the same time. Upright cop, played by Nandamuri Tarakaratna tries to nab the culprits. But the hostage situation gets worse as the hostages are tortured by the robbers. This is essentially what the trailer promises.

The trailer promises that 9 Hours is, in a way, a Money Heist-inspired Telugu series. It is directed by Jacob Verghese & Niranjan Kaushik. Krish Jagarlamudi has written the series.

9 Hours features Tarakaratna, Madhushalini, Ajay, and others in the lead roles. It streams on Disney+ Hotstar from June 2nd.
