Both the local and overseas numbers are amazing. But first let’s look at overseas where it has minted $1.7M over the extended weekend. It’s the third biggest weekend ever in US. The most important thing to notice here is that A Aa after a long gap has proved again that more than stars it is content which sells in this market. Previously there used to be biggest grosser in US which didn’t have any top stars. Of late such films had restricted success which made many doubt if OS too has become star driven. A Aa’s performance and simultaneous disasters from top stars made things clear again.
In the two Telugu states the film has performed exceptionally in the A centers. The smaller centers have been good to decent but not on par with the urban centers. Overall A Aa has collected nearly 27 Cr in its opening weekend making it one of the biggest openers in recent times. With Monday too being good the trade is expecting the fabulous run to continue for some period to come.
