A Big Bet On Samantha

In a last gasp surprise, the makers of Pushpa announced that Samantha will be featuring in an item song in Pushpa: The Rise. This is the first time Samantha is shaking a leg in a special item number.

Now, team Pushpa seems to be betting big on Samantha. They are said to have already paid her a whopping remuneration to the tune of Rs 1.5-2 crores and now, erecting a special set for her.

The makers of Pushpa are betting big on Samantha. They see her inclusion as one of the main USPs of the film.

Samantha is already a star in South Indian cinema and with The Family Man 2, she attained following in the Hindi market. So, Samantha’s item song should boost the pan-India box office prospects of the film. Recognising the same, the makers of Pushpa are emphasising on Samantha’s part.

The said dance number will be shot at a special set from the 28th of this month. Samantha and Allu Arjun will take part in the same. Pushpa: The Rise is up for release on the 17th of December.
