The first thing that instantly comes to mind watching the teaser of Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali is Sammohanam. The actor-director duo of Sudheer Babu and Mohan Krishna Indraganti worked together on it for the first time. It was about a heroine falling in love with a common man. Here a director seems to be falling in love (while making a movie) with a girl. It’s a role reversal of sorts.
All of that is the first impression that one gets from the teaser. To know more, we have to wait for the final trailer, though.
Krithi Shetty is on familiar turf again. She had something similar to do in her December release Shyam Singha Roy. If Krithi was a psychology student there here she is an eye specialist. However, there is a twist in the tale and that of course would bring all the difference.
Sudheer Babu who seems to have developed a great rapport with Mohanakrishna Indraganti is looking super confident in the promo. The actor and director are in dire need of genuine success now. Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali might just be what the doctor ordered for them.
