A Aa songs – Karthik saves embarrassment

Irrespective of how a Trivikram Srinivas film fares at box office, the music in his films has always found appreciation. Most of them have in fact topped the music charts before release itself. Has A Aa lived up to that reputation?

The first impression that one gets is of a disappointment, especially considering the appeal of some of his recent albums. Leaving such expectations aside in multiple listens, two songs from singer Karthik save the day and embarrassment for Trivikram. Lyrics have the usual Trivikram flavor but it’s the music by Mickey J Mayer which lacks the punch.

In the end A Aa is clearly a weaker album among the recent past Trivikram Srinivas films. The silver lining, if at all, is they surely give hope for better on screen videos. If that’s the case, the music might find life post the release.
