Aamir Khan meets his favorite director

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was in Chennai recently to attend the opening ceremony of the ‘11th Chennai Film Festival (CIFF)’ and spent some quality time with renowned veteran filmmaker in the Tamil Film industry, K Balachander. We hear that the two chatted freely for almost half an hour and talked about their previous meeting which was also an event like this in Tamil Nadu capital. The event was the Gollapudi Memorial Award ceremony which took place in 2008 and the duo met there last time.

Aamir Khan was even awarded at that ceremony for his film ‘Taare Zameen Par’, dealing with disorders and some other issues, featuring Darsheel Safary in the leading role. Balachander congratulated him for the award at that time and wished him good luck for his upcoming film ‘Dhoom: 3’ and the successful show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ in their recent meeting.
