A US returned NRI finding trouble locally and adjusting and loving later is a tried and tested formula. It has been successfully implemented many times and also had a few failures. The trailer of ABCD gives us an impression that it is somewhere in between. The biggest issue with it, there is a lack of clarity as to what is happening. Not that, a trailer has to reveal everything, but one must get a basic idea, even if that could be misleading sometimes. Here, we don’t get that at all. It has its moments in love and comedy bits, but that’s it.
