Three Clashes for Summer: Will They Happen?

After ten months of Hibernation, the Telugu film industry is active like no other industry in the country or the World for that matter. The response of the audience to the Sankranthi releases and the relaxation to the occupancy in the theaters gave the filmmakers the much-needed confidence.

The filmmakers have been announcing their release dates almost in a hurry. We already have a release chart spanning until Sankranthi 2022. After the release date announcements, we have arrived at three possible clashes for this Summer.

Both Nani’s Tuck Jagadish and Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story were announced for April 16th. Chiranjeevi’s Acharya has confirmed the May 13th release while Venkatesh’s Narappa blocked May 14th. Ravi Teja’s Khiladi and Balayya’s #BB3 were both announced for the May 28th release.

In all probability, none of these films would choose to clash but the big question is who will blink. After suffering for a year due to the Pandemic, the Industry can not lose through such clashes. As things stand today, Tuck Jagadish, Narappa, and Khiladi may have to find other dates. But you never know since Summer is already jampacked with very few options.
