Actress Journey: From Middle Class to Mercedes

Once upon a time, there used to be a lot of jokes and cartoons cut on the actors captioning that, “I wanted to become a doctor but became an actor.” But, Taapsee Pannu is not the kind to boast and feels proud to talk about her background.

Today she owns a Mercedes and proudly poses to the cameras with the new arrival of the family. But, she agrees that she came from a middle-class background and was brought up like any other middle-class girl, running after public transport and bargaining over the cost of vegetables and other things.

Recently, the petite actress bought a four-bedroom apartment in Mumbai and announced that she had paid all the dues and proud to be independent. Now, a Mercedes would certainly be another pride possession of the actress who is riding high on the success of her films, back to back.
