Actress Finally Reacts On Drugs Case

Of late, we have been hearing an increased number of cases of film celebrities getting caught in drugs-related cases and controversies. The same thing happened with happening actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.

Varalaxmi’s former manager Adilingam was arrested in drugs peddling case in Tamil Nadu. And then, there were reports that the actress received NIA notices to appear for investigation in the drugs case. The actress later denied the same.

Cut to now, Varalaxmi faced Telugu media for the first time after the drugs issue came up and here’s what she had to say.

“I have nothing to do with the drugs case. The man in question was a freelance manager for me. He was with me when I was doing Sarkar film. He bought me 2-3 films and I did them. I can’t be held responsible for what he does in his personal life. I have no link with him or his activities” The actress commented.

She added “No one will read the news if it is mentioned that the said man is arrested in drugs case. But it will be news is they write it as Varalaxmi’s manager, and that is exactly what happened with this. The media pumped up the case more than anything else”.
