Actresses are always short lived!

Strange are the ways of film industry. In a country which boasts of universal equality, Men are always greater than women. Coming to the point, when actors aging more than 50 are conveniently romancing with actresses less than their daughter’s age, actresses do have very little span of career. The same is with the actresses who once reigned the roost. Best example is that of Simran. The actress was the first choice heroine for all big stars in late 90s and early 2000s. All the stars are still making movies in glam roles, while Simran has to don the grease paint as mother and grand mother.

She acted beside Balakrishna in Samara Simha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu and Seema Simham and later acted as his grand mother in Okka Magadu. Previously she acted as Surya’s mother in Suryan S/O Krishnan and is again doing it now for Dhruva Natchitram directed by Gautam Menon.
