Adipurush Writer Apologizes, Gets Trolled Again

The theatrical run of Prabhas’s Adipurush has been a mixed big. It started off very brightly and then collapsed like a house of cards. On top of that, there is the widespread criticism on the film for misrepresenting Ramayan.

There was a talk that Adipurush defames Ramayan in the name of modernisation and several Hindu groups protested against the film.

Now, the writer of Adipurush, Manoj Muntashir has apologised publicly as he tweeted “ I accept people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation” he tweeted.

Incidentally, the writer is getting trolled all over again for his apology.

“This Manoj Muntashir claims to be a nationalist. All he wants is attention. He only recently said Adipurush is only inspired from Ramayan character and it is not a film based on Ramayan. Now, he has apologised for this film. Perhaps the film’s OTT release is on the way. That’s why he is craving for attention again” a netizen commented.

Another netizen pointed out that Adipurush is out of theaters and Manini is still trying to milk the film with these incoherent statements. They say his only intention is to bag another film with this attention.
