Adirindhi Continues The Bad Trend

Another week and we have another film following the same trend as the movie that released the week before. The pattern is that of a successful weekend but getting dull afterward.

The Vijay starrer Adirindhi released mid-week on Thursday. It had the best weekend among all the new releases. However, on the first Monday, it has dropped like many films previously. It is following a dangerous precedent, and that seems to be the case with most average fares.

Luckily for the makers, the movie was sold cheaply, so they are likely to breakeven even with lesser enthusiasm in the rest of the week. With multiple releases slated for the upcoming week, Adirindi would most probably close its run by the end of the second weekend.
