Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit Sees a Decent Opening Weekend

Adivi Sesh has consistently built a strong reputation for selecting solid scripts and delivering good content films. His dedication to crafting engaging stories has resulted in a steadily growing market for his projects across different regions.

This commitment to sensible cinema is evident in his latest bilingual release, Dacoit. The film has captured the attention of audiences, translating into strong numbers at the global box office right from its opening weekend.

Within just three days of its release, the film collected a gross of over Rs. 40 crores+ worldwide. This rapid accumulation of theatrical revenue has officially pushed the project past its required target for breakeven theatrically.

With a total budget of Rs. 65 crores and a significant portion, Rs.48 crores had been recovered through non-theatrical rights before release. Now, they needed only 17 crores for breakeven from theatrical run and Dacoit has crossed the break-even mark, within opening weekend.

The film is now in profits for all parties involved, standing as a big commercial Summer success. Producers Supriya Yarlagadda, Suniel Narang and entire distributors, exhibitors are happy with this success. Audiences are flocking to theatres with positive word-of-mouth everywhere.
