After Non-BB Records Who’s Working With Harish Shankar?

Director Harish Shankar is not a person who develops attitude post the success, but he is someone who is always full of attitude, irrespective of the success. Maybe that explains why he hasn’t worked with top stars regularly. But that’s not the point here, the point is the “star” director is delivering a Non-Baahubali success, so which big star would be working with him now?

There are two kinds of success, one where a genuinely good film is a success, and that makes everyone associated with the movie a hot property. Like Harish Shankar was, post-Gabbar Singh. He was rumored to direct all the top stars at one point or the other and finally, he got the nod from a top star. Then there is another kind of success where, the timing of the release and hero’s pull, take the movie to a higher level than it actually should.

With the success of the second kind, despite the happy faces the team puts for outer world internally everyone knows the close escape the film in question just had. It means the eagerness of a top hero to work is less.

Now, DJ is a success. There is no doubt about that. The director slams critics and points at the collection and states it is creating Non-Baahubali records, but unfortunately, he can’t say with confidence if the movie will be a Non-Baahubali record. If DJ is that good why should it stop at 4, 5, or 6th position? Why not go all the way and be a Non-Baahubali record grosser? And once again, who’s going to be that top star that would be willing to give him dates immediately?
