What was just a cameo in the first part of the film, became a full-fledged role in the second part of the film. From the glimpse of the actor in the first part, the audience had high expectations from his performance in the second. They were excited to see how his skills would be utilized.
Many fans hoped to see an electrifying face-off between Allu Arjun and FaFa, both the actors being at their peak.
However, this collaboration left a lot of fans underwhelmed.
Many found FaFa’s role to be one-dimensional. His performance barely showed his range of acting. There were a few glimpses into his range, but could only be caught if the viewers paid attention closely. His character goes through the part usually in his typical inimitable style.
The character of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat was almost reduced to a joker to elevate Allu Arjun’s character as a hero.
Despite his performance, Pushpa 2 is a great hit among fans, winning the hearts of people with each passing day.
After the huge success of this film, FaFa is said to collaborate with Imtiaz Ali for a slice-of-life romantic comedy- Idiots Of Istanbul. Pairing up with Tripti Dimri, Imtiaaz seems to be taking a break from intense romance films and dabbling into some rom-coms.
The pre-production of the film has already started and the makers are said to be giving the final touches to the script.
