After Tollywood, Bollywood in Drugs Mess. Will The Rot Be Cleaned?

After Enforcement Directorate ( ED) & CBI, the Narcotics control bureau ( NCB) registered a case in Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case. This comes a day after the media reports of CBI finding evidence of Rhea Chakraborty using and dealing with Drugs and Narcotics.

Immediately after that, Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter and alleged that implied that many A-listers in Bollywood consume illegal drugs and many will be behind bars if blood tests are conducted. A few years ago, similar allegations have surfaced on Tollywood as well.

Telangana Government zeroed in more than a dozen celebrities for using and dealing drugs. After the high drama of questioning and investigation, the entire issue was silently brushed under the carpet. Even the charge-sheet is not filed in the case so far. The drug cartel, the suppliers within the industry, the customers of the industry, and their political connections.

Everything stinks and indicates the rot in the system. Keeping aside the political complications involved in such cases, many people have come to the conclusion that doing drugs is quite common in the glam world. How and Why the actors move into that is a question that needs to be answered. Tragedy in India is that actors are usually treated demigods and these reports or their possible escapade like how it happened in Hyderabad a few years ago will definitely do not augur well to society.
