Aftershocks continue in Nepal – Tremors in AP!

As Nepal is trying to restore of normalcy after that dreaded earth quake hit on April 25th, a biggest aftershock hit Nepal a short while ago. The Aftershock measured 7.4 magnitude on Richter scale while the original quake was 7.9 then.

The epicentre of this Aftershock was situated about 83 km east of Kathmandu. Experts say this kind of activity was very normal and takes place after the major earthquake due to activity in the tectonic plates in the Himalayan region.

Mild Tremors were even felt in some parts of Andhra Pradesh creating panic. Tremors were felts in parts of Krishna, East and West Godavari and Visakhapatnam and other districts. Entire north India felt tremors from Rajasthan to West Bengal as people ran out of their houses screaming all around.
