On the same date, a few more films are releasing, including Nenu Student Sir, starring Bellamkonda Ganesh. Recently while speaking to the media, Teja said that he is happy that his film Ahimsa is clashing with other films. In this case, people would compare his film with those films that are clashing instead of comparing it with his own past films.
Teja feels his films constantly getting compared to his past films harms the box office prospects of his new films. He feels it is better if his new films are compared with the other films that clash with his film on the same date. He feels his film would get better feedback from the audience due to this perspective.
He added that a similar thing happened with his past film Nene Raju Nene Mantri, which clashed with Boyapati’s Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Nithiin’s Lie. Teja’s film was compared to these films and not to his past films, and hence it got better talk and emerged as a hit. Teja is expecting the same thing to repeat again with Ahimsa.
We have to see if this weird logic of Teja will work in favor of Ahimsa.
