A Surprise Negative Shade in Allu Arjun’s Raaka?

Aishwarya Lekshmi reportedly joins Allu Arjun’s Raaka

Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Raaka seems to have another surprise in its casting. Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is said to be playing a role in the film.

The buzz is that Aishwarya is not the heroine here. Instead, she is reportedly playing a character with negative shades. Her role is being kept under wraps for now, so it is not clear whether she will be a full-fledged antagonist or a character that turns grey as the story moves forward.

The team is currently shooting in Mumbai, and Aishwarya is expected to join the schedule soon.

For a film that already has plenty of attention around Allu Arjun and Atlee, this casting adds another talking point. Aishwarya has mostly been seen in varied roles across Malayalam and Tamil films, and a negative-shaded character in a big commercial film would be a different space for her.

The makers are yet to officially confirm the casting or reveal her character. For now, the talk is that Aishwarya Lekshmi could be playing one of the key grey characters in Raaka.
