Aish alongside her hubby Abhishek Bachan, mother Vrinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya present on the stage received the honours. She won this honour for being the most successful and impactful Miss World over two decades.
Accepting the honour Aish said, “I stand here overwhelmed by this honour. I thank Miss World Organisation for such an incredible honour that I have received. To have the opportunity to hold the title, to wear the crown with pride… that was my one time to go out there and experience beauty with a purpose.” After Priyanka Chopra was crowned the Miss World in 2000, there was no Miss World winner from India thereafter.
