Akhil’s MEB Publicity Irking The Fans?

The upcoming film of Akkineni Akhil, Most Eligible Bachelor, is failing to strike the right chord with its publicity. They are making all the right moves, but somehow it isn’t working with the fans. The latest on the list is pre-teaser.

Given the current trend of pre-teaser of a teaser of the teaser and so on, many knew what was in store when the makers announced an update on October 19th. And yet, what has come their (fan’s) way has disappointed them.

It is the combination of quality, length, and in general, the aversion to the pre-teasers that has resulted in the reaction. Most Eligible Bachelor did immediately found a place in the top trends, but the responses were nothing to be proud of.

What did, however, brought some positivity is the dialogue delivery of Akhil, which sounded confident. The expectations have been lowered which could come in handy when the ‘actual’ teaser comes out on October 25th.

So far, the first look poster (and its pre-look), the first single tease and the song, and birthday wishes images have been not up to the mark concerning the reception. It could all change with the teaser that comes out soon. Fans are hoping it is the case because Most Eligible Bachelor is a crucial outing for Akhil after back to back disappointments.

Pooja Hegde is the heroine opposite Akhil in the movie. Bommarillu Bhaskar directs it, making a comeback. Gopi Sundar provides the music. Allu Aravind presents the romantic entertainer on Geetha Arts. Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma produce it on GA2 Pictures banner.
